Prevent dementia by providing fast, easy homocysteine levels checks Linda Sue Johnson

The Prevent Dementia project will hold clinics with free testing, and distribute information to local doctors and residents about the benefits of knowing your homocysteine level. Just like your blood sugar, when it gets high, it can cause damage. It attacks the weakest part of your body, so it could cause heart disease, strokes, cancer, osteporosis, even snoring! But the one damage it does that affected my family was that it gave my mother dementia. A doctor treating her would not give her urgent care because he said, "Would you want to live if you had dementia?" My mother's dementia could have been prevented in the 1960's when she had an h. pylori infection, but back then, no one knew about h. pylori. The lack of knowledge made many people's lives miserable and led to their early death. Please help me educate my community about the dangers of high homcysteine and help me test the people at places like CVS, Walgreens, Jewel to find the people whose homocysteine levels are too high.
