Overview
We are a 501 (c)3 non profit organization and we are currently crammed into an old flower shop. We would love to be able to move our group to a much larger and more adequately prepared spot to be able to expand and help more families. With this grant money we would be able to purchase and own our own building and never have to worry again if we have enough in grants and donations to pay the rent. As it stands now we are on a month to month basis of never knowing if we will have enough to make due in order to not have to close our doors. The need for food becomes more and more every month but the donations do not. The cost of rent is over a thousand dollars alone a month and does not include the electricity to run the five freezers and ten refridgerators that we own when they are working! Everyone that is there to help is strictly volunteer, no one including the CEO gets paid. This grant would help us to create a more permanent environment for clients!
